Parkinson's Detection and Analysis


A Bio-Medical Research Project

Gait Analysis of Parkinson’s Disease (PD) Patients and Control Objects has been analysed to show differences in PD Patients and Control Objects. Using data provided by Phisonet’s Gaitpdb database (in which 8 sensors have been applied to each foot of the subjects to calculate the Vertical Ground Reaction Forces (VGRF)), data compression has been performed using 7 statistical functions to get a representative image of the data. The statistical functions namely Minimum, Maximum, Mean, Median, Standard Deviation, Skewness, and Kurtosis have been used to compress over 3 million tuples into 310 tuples.
Finally, various Machine Learning techniques have been applied to the transformed dataset to perform detection of Parkinson’s Disease. Classification has been performed using Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forest, SVM (Linear Kernel), SVM (RBF Kernel), SVM (Poly Kernel) and k-Nearest Neighbours. The accuracies achieved are 90.06%, 87.78%, 90.39%, 89.95%, 90.39%, 88.64% and 93.08% respectively.
Experiments with Principal Component Analysis for data compression have also been performed and their incompetence (with reasons) have been stated.

Twitter Data Analysis


A Data Analysis project which involves the following steps in brief:
Data Collection: Tweets were collected using the twitter API through Tweepy. 20,000 tweets were collected, half of which were on the topic of Air Pollution in Delhi, India, while the other half was on the topic of Mumbai Rains.
Data Storage: The data was stored in a MongoDB collection, which contains several databases which are filled by applying conditionals on the data that has been collected in the main 'all_tweets' DB.
Data Analysis: As stated, data analysis has been performed and the results of the analysis are stored in databases which are contained in the same MongoDB collection.
Finally, a Flask powered website is created so as to showcase the output of the project. Also, the Collection is uploaded to a remote source so that anyone who tries to access the website can access the collection through the website.
Google Charts is used to convert the data into visuals which exhibit the overall result of the analysis in a concise and easy-to-understand form.

Image Recognition

Computer Vision Web App


This elegant-looking website has the power to interpret complex objects that are present in the image. The engine provides a subtle description of the content present in the image with the confidence levels.
The website uses Microsoft Computer Vision API and is essentially powered by Javascript.
It has been optimized for Mobile-Responsiveness.
A remote image link must be loaded to test the project.
In case the app stops working, it may be because the key I am using has expired.

HPCS HR Panel

A Powerful Employee Management System


An extensive HR Panel which incorporates all the basic manegerial tasks like Employee Attendance Checker, Employee Management etc.
The key to the HR Panel is its simplicity and robust back-end. HPCS did not want me to build them an aesthetic webpage, but rather wanted a simple and secure webpage conforming to their standardized color scheme.

Vakil Desk is an easy-to-use cloud based Legal Practice Management software for advocates and law firms in India.
I am interning at Vakil Desk as a Full Stack Developer since June 2018 and here's what I have worked on:
o Worked on the Vakil Desk stack (https://vakildesk.com) using Django, REST framework, BeautifulSoup4, Python.
o Handled the Indian Supreme Court's Cause Lists scraping logic.
o Developed various APIs for the application to enable cross-platform compatibility.
o Implemented the User Grouping as per the plan purchased and handled the services available to each user accordingly.
o Integrated Payments and Refunds through RazorPay.
o Integrated Push Notifications for the web and Android app.
o Worked on Silent Phase Detection and Speech wave analysis.
o Implemented Celery Task Scheduling using RabbitMQ for asynchronous request processing.

A Real-Time Web Scraping App


So, I order a pack of Optimum Nutrition 5LB WHEY Protein every few months. I thought it would be a fun exercise to write a python web scraping script to determine the lowest priced flavor in the same variant.
Even better, I'll arrange them in a non-decreasing dictionary in order of their price list! (Since some of us have a flavor over price preference in their protein shakes!)
Personally, this is my first practical web scraping app. Although I have used web scraping extensively for a lot of personal tasks, but this was my first incorporation of it into a practical project that I will be using about every 3 months.
